North Node: Sagittarians Coming In
A new nodal generation is just getting underway. Babies born between March 3, 2011 and August 29, 2012 have their North Node, the astrological symbol describing their life purpose, in Sagittarius, the sign of the freedom-loving adventurer. This energetic, tolerant and generous fire sign represents the philosopher archetype, the individual on a quest for meaning. Sagittarius also represents law and justice, religion, and higher education – systems that put frameworks of meaning around the world we live in and help us figure out our own place in that world. As they move into their adult years, these now-tiny adorables can take the lead in bringing justice, tolerance, and freedom to those who struggle for these birthrights. These are, enormous contributions that are sure to make the world they live in far better than how they found it.
The innate confidence and optimism of Sagittarius will go a long way to assure that these new spirits can deliver on their mission. What’s more, their kind, friendly, open and generous natures make it likely that they will be able to enlist many allies on their freedom-loving-and-bestowing path. You’ll have to keep a close eye on them, though: these endearing cuties have a taste for wanderlust and adventure wired into their energy fields. After all, once they grow up, they’re going to spread their message of tolerance, justice, and belief in the goodness of the world they live in far and wide, just like Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Billy Graham, and Jane Fonda have done, each in their own way.
The South Node of the Moon describes our past life experience, and qualities that are carried forward into this lifetime. North Node Sagittarius people have their South Node in bright, curious, communicative, sociable Gemini, the airy sign that is ruled by the planet Mercury, the messenger of the gods. (See below.) That legacy can be used to spread the word about the Sagittarian mission of tolerance and justice for all. And think of this: Starting in April, these newly-incarnated spirits will have the amped-up sensitivity and compassion of Neptune in Pisces in their natal charts for a lifetime. What a combo!
Welcome to our world, dear ones…we’ve never needed you more.
